Background: Lyrre has no memory of her Family. Her life from a very young age consisted almost entirely of combat training sessions, force manipulation, mental and physical conditioning and abuse. When she was 15 however the young woman found herself inexplicably freed by a man named Syd.

A reckless sort of person himself; Syd smuggled the young and then badly traumatized woman to several underground resistance bases. Each time leaving her to go back to his own duties for a time before returning to move her on to the next location. With each visit he explained a little bit about the Forces true nature and slowly the damage to Lyrres psyche was eased.

At one point however; they were attacked by Sith Lady named Ydarra. She was accompanied by an initiate named Orion who was meant to retrieve the escaped Lyrre for the Empire. Failing his mission though; Orion was captured after Syd battled and defeated Ydarra and then discovered the young initiate searching his ship for Lyrre.

After this; the two were taken to a special cave that was filled with the light side of the Force. It’s power was great and it began to burn the impurities away from Orion as well as further easing Lyrre’s troubled mind. Still the young man fought against this influence and eventually he was sent back to his masters by Syd with the promise that once he realized the truth about the Sith and their methods he could return and begin the journey to redemption.

He did eventually return. Having discovered that his mission had in fact been one he was not intended to return from. With Lyrre waiting on Ossus, Syd took the young man to Kashyyk to meet up with a Jedi Knight who was meant to help him. The Knight gave him a test; placing Orions own red light saber next to a new green one and telling him to choose.

Orion moved forward and took his red saber, and the Knight believed that he had failed. However Orion took the weapon down to the beach instead and threw it as far as he could, severing his ties with the Sith. He was then sent to a secluded hut deep in the wilderness to begin his recovery.

Back on Ossus; Syd took Lyrre to a room filled with many ancient Light Sabers from a bygone era. She chose a matched set that resonated with her on a spiritual level. She was then taken to Kashyyk as well.

For the next two years; Lyrre lived and trained with the Knight and his family. She played with his Son and helped his wife around the house and in between she began a meditation regimen that helped her to bring an even greater sense of control and calm to her mind and the voices that plagued her from time to time.

During that time she also met a young woman named Sheila who had been sent to meet with the Jedi Knight and deliver a message. Sheila was an anomaly, a female Clone who had as a result been expelled from the ranks as an infant with no programming installed into her genetic code. Lyrre quickly became friends with the older girl and they began a regular correspondence after she left to return to her base of operations. Syd continued to stop by sporadically as well.

Then one day she awoke to find that her surrogate family had gone out. The only other person in the house was Syd (who had dropped by unannounced). He told her that they were about to receive visitors and despite his initial protests allowed her to join him in greeting them.

The new arrival came in the form of a Wookie Padawan named Kreda Mahl and his Master; Jedi Master Rojma. They were accompanied by General Kota. Kreda was initial hostile as he could sense the taint of the dark side on Syd. But he restrained himself and soon plans were underway to raid an imperial encampment where wookies were being held in preparation to sell them as slave labor. After a brief wait Syd obtained a dampener and the preparations for the assault concluded. As the were getting ready to leave Orion returned; having spent a year traveling to a specific location on the planet in order to undergo a trial.

With his arrival, unexpected as it was; the group was ready to leave (with Syd giving a hasty farewell and leaving the raiding party to it’s own devices).

The last time Lyrre had entered combat was more than two years ago. However she took to it easily. Her mind and body swiftly falling back into the silent focus of her training. The entire group in fact seemed to be mostly in synch with only a small hitch as she seemed to shake off her mental programming long enough to accidentally graze Orion with a lightsaber that slipped from her grasp. In the end though the wookies were freed. They made for the exit; only to be intercepted by another initiate. A young woman in red with a white ponytail.

Soon they were engaged in combat once again as the rest of the raiding party lead the escaped wookies past them and down to the beach. Despite the obvious skill of the initiate the battle was 3 on 1 and before long she found herself fleeing from the padawans as they pursued her. Using the force; the fleeing initiate pushed herself too hard in her attempt to escape. She had to stop to catch her breath.

Kreda thought quickly and lifted Lyrre in his arms; hurling her after the enemy as Orion used the force to guide her towards her target. She crossed her dual sabers over the young woman’s body; severing her at the waist. With just a few moments to spare Lyrre shut her blades down and came to a smooth landing several feet away from the dissected body.

Having defeated the enemy Lyrre searched the body and then returned to her fellow padawans and together they rejoined the ships waiting to load the last of the freed wookie slaves and rejoin the other teams who had been in charge of raiding other camps.
